The Chris Krossing Foundation is named in loving memory after United States Army Staff Sergeant Chris Kiernan, who lost his life serving his country in Iraq. The Foundation president, Donna Kiernan Carter, created the Chris Krossing Foundation in aims of helping those who have also lost a loved one in the line of duty recover through equine activities.

We are a non-profit 501c(3) organization that rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to host horseback riding workshops for Wounded Warriors, and families that have lost loved ones that were serving in the Unites States military, and family members of fallen first responders . We have horses of varying personalities to accommodate for experience levels of the riders and to ensure we can provide a good match.
The mission here at the Chris Krossing Foundation is to serve those left behind through the healing power of equines.
